As reported by THE NATION, the maiden edition of the conference which was themed, ‘Mavin Women’s Day Soirée’, was held on the open-air rooftop of the Ebonylife place on Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to THE NATION, the organisers explained, “Mavin Records aimed to further ingrain its philosophy of gender equality in the entertainment industry while encouraging the women working and making a difference in the industry.”
