Currently, we are building a local and cross border service network to support air, sea and road transportation with the aim to be the leading diversified integrated logistics solution provider between China and emerging markets. By doing so, it will reduce end-to-end logistics costs between China and emerging markets while providing a stable and recognized logistics services to our customers.

We offer a variety of products and value added service to cover different commercial or personal scenarios for our customers.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Field Officer

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

  • Issuing of local documentation including Invoice, Delivery Notes, Receipts and verificationwhen necessary.
  • Raising of Parcel waybill, Order tracking and follow up until delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate field operations, including delivery schedules, dispatching, and transportation activities.
  • Interact with clients and customers on-site to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collect and follow up customer orders. Ensure a close follow up of daily order entering and guarantee strict order management accuracy.
  • Generate revenue and meet up with Sales monthly target.

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND / OND in any discipline
  • Little or No years of experience
  • Must be of close proximity to the above named Location
  • Must own a smart phone
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • At least an average proficiency in Ms- word
  • Experience in the Logistics Industry is also an added advantage.

Remuneration
NGN 60,000 Gross.

2.) Line Haul Manager

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Route Planning and Optimization:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for line haul operations, optimizing transportation routes and schedules for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate with dispatch teams to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of freight.

Fleet Coordination:

  • Collaborate with Fleet Managers to allocate vehicles and resources effectively, ensuring optimal utilization across line haul routes.
  • Monitor fleet performance and maintenance to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Performance Analysis:

  • Analyze line haul performance metrics, including on-time delivery, transit times, and cost per mile, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and industry standards in all line haul activities.
  • Implement measures to promote a culture of safety among line haul teams and drivers.
  • Facilitate a professional driving culture to line haul drivers to improving operational efficiency and adherence to SOP and customer SLA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Cognate 5-10 years management experience in line haul operations or transportation logistics, preferably in a managerial capacity.
  • Relevant professional certification in Transport in Nigeria. E.g. National Institute of Transport & Logistics is an added advantage
  • Comprehensive understanding of line haul processes, transportation logistics, and route planning.
  • Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and MS Office Suite.

3.) Fleet Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Work jointly with team to ensure allocation of vehicles/drivers based on the peculiarity of Client’s requests.
  • Work with HR in the recruitment of quality drivers into the Logistics fleet.
  • Fully responsible for driver management- develop, maintain and adhere to disciplinary procedures, driver orientation program, and ensure preventive maintenance procedures are adhered to by all Drivers. Also understand and communicate Driver needs/complaints to the HR / Management Team.
  • Oversee routine and ad hoc maintenance, obtain tags for new vehicles and renew old ones to ensure schedule fleet management.
  • Facilitate timely daily, weekly, monthly truck technical inspection with the use of the truck checklist and the company’s fleet management system.
  • Oversee fleet maintenance, schedule for repairs and schedule for annual inspection, and ensure preventive maintenance procedures are adhered to by all Drivers
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection and schedule regular vehicle maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
  • Perform vehicle registration / renewals, insurance and documentation regarding on boarding of new vehicles to existing fleet. Keep record and make proper filing of truck licensing and registrations.
  • Monitor and ensure fleet operation in compliance with state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Maintain and monitor data management system to organize fleets as per various schedules and requests.
  • Develop and implement standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices in industry.
  • Coordinate all regional (and national) fleets operation as necessary.
  • Ensure optimal utilization and security of all vehicles in fleet by monitoring Drivers’ locations and movements, through tracker management, also review field operations to proactively spot any inconsistencies with the vehicles movements outside the prohibited working hours
  • Manage and submit periodic report of Driver’s performances, delivery fulfilments and fleet utilization.
  • Apply and record appropriate disciplinary actions where necessary.
  • Implement and maintain policies and processes to ensure the fleet operates effectively and efficiently, educating staff with the industry’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing & frequency.

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc. in Transport & Logistics Management or other related fields.
  • Cognate 5-10 years management experience of a fleet of 100 commercial trucks (minimum).
  • Relevant professional certification in Transport in Nigeria. E.g. National Institute of Transport & Logistics is an added advantage
  • Relevant professional certification in Transport in Nigeria. E.g. National Institute of Transport & Logistics is an added advantage.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Nigeria fleet and transport legislation / compliance requirements for the transport industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of route planning and Driver management.
  • Experience in Truck types and models, costs, utilization and management peculiarities.

4.) Customer Service Representative

Location: Delta

Job Description

  • Act as main link between Speedaf and her customers.
  • Ensure an effective communication and mutual understanding, focus on our customer’s needs.
  • Update and maintain customer orders in the systems.
  • Collect and follow up customer orders.
  • Ensure a close follow up of daily order entering and guarantee strict order management accuracy.
  • Issuing of local documentation including Invoice, Delivery Notes, Receipts and verifications when necessary.
  • Order tracking and follow up until delivery.
  • Work with station supervisor daily to ensure smooth deliveries, ensuring that appropriate riders are at the right place at the time.
  • Track customer claims and ensure a daily follow-up of outstanding items. Investigate claims and set action plans to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Focus constantly on service level performance improvement.
  • Maintain procedures, follow standards, and administrate activities to assure accurate order entry, efficient shipment tracking, and timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Implement tools and reports in order to measure the Customer Service activity and its KPI performance is enhance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • HND / B.Sc Degree in relevant fields.
  • Team player; able to relate to suppliers, colleagues and team members.
  • Customer oriented.
  • 1-2 years experience as Customer Service representative with experience in the logistics industry

Job Description

  • Identify potential clients and market segments that align with our logistics services and generate new leads through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Develop and implement strategies effectively for extensive sales and distribution of company products.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to create tailored logistics solutions for clients.
  • Present proposals and quotations to clients, addressing their specific requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive work relationships with clients to create a rapport that facilitates patronage and generates revenue.
  • Monitor to identify changes in market trends and adjust accordingly to enhance sales process and revenue.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and KPIs set by the Line Managers and Management.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales records including client interactions and sales forecast to obtain information useful in preparing reports
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase our services.
  • Perform every other tasks as assigned by your Reporting Line.

Competencies and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field of study.
  • Proven track record in sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with proven track records in Logistics, B2B and FMCG.
  • Must be able to identify prospects, identify prospects’ challenges and proffer solutions and build rapport and maintain client relationships and Retention.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Must be a good negotiator.
  • Must possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
