PEOPLES GAZETTE reports that between March 7 to 13, more than 11 million new coronavirus cases and 43,000 deaths from or with COVID-19 have been reported.
The number of COVID-19 cases was noted particularly in the western Pacific and Africa regions compared to the previous week, with increases of 29 per cent and 12 per cent, respectively.
As reported by PEOPLES GAZETTE, there was a weekly increase of two per cent in Europe while the number of cases in the eastern Mediterranean, south-east Asia, and North and South America decreased.Jamb Result
However, the total number of global coronavirus infections confirmed since the pandemic began has reached 455 million, while six million deaths have been reported.
