Unknown Gunmen Abduct Catholic Priest, Three Others In Ebonyi

Some unknown gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a Catholic Priest Rev. Fr. Joseph Azubuike, in Ebonyi State. NEWSDIARY reports.Information Guide Nigeria

Reports presented to journalists on Tuesday disclosed that the cleric was abducted yesterday in Isu, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, close to his residence in the area while returning from pastoral duties.

The assailants, Naija News learned, also kidnapped three other persons whose identities could not be immediately ascertained.NYSC Portal

The Catholic Diocese of Abakaliki in the state confirmed Azubuike’s abduction in a statement by the Diocesan Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Uzoma Opoke, titled: “Call for prayers.
