UNN Harassed Me For Twerking: Medical Student
A 100 level Medical Student of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), Mirabel Obi has said that the school, UNN harassed her for twerking after her twerking video went viral. Jamb Result
PEOPLES GAZETTE reports that Mirabel Obi refuted reports of her expulsion, saying the school had no power to expel her.

According to PEOPLE GAZETTE, Mirabel Obi said, “I wasn’t expelled. I repeat. I was only harassed without being heard from. The authorities badged into my hostel and ransacked my properties.
“A lot of my properties have been damaged, and some are nowhere to be found. How do you invade someone’s privacy?”

As reported by PEOPLES GAZETTE, the student was seen in a viral video twerking in a bodysuit during a dance competition for N30,000 last week.
PEOPLES GAZETTE reports that the Dean of Student Affairs, Edwin Ogechukwu Emeje, vowed to expel her for soiling the university’s image. Information Guide Nigeria
However, the student has said that she did not violate the school laws adding that the school has no right to expel her.
She said, “Twerking has nothing to do with my academics as you can’t make become a medical student in UNN without passing 300 and above in your JAMB. I am still very serious, and I know how to balance my social and academic life”.
According to PEOPLES GAZETTE, UNN’s official, Ezeani Emmanuel Onyebuchi, declined to comment when contacted on the issue, and the administrative officer, Kenechukwu Nzewi, said he could not comment on the issue.
