Buhari okays tech to fight insecurity in South-East

Hope Uzodimma, Governor of Imo State, revealed this to State House correspondents following a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

He stated that the tools would be delivered to the South East shortly.
“I also appealed to him for further support, to support us with some technological deployments; we have planned to be able to do an advanced kind of security control in the South East. He has also given his approval to that.
“And in a moment from now, we will be getting some surveillance equipment and some modern technologies that will help us manage security so that we can fight crime with little or no collateral damage to the environment,” the governor explained.NYSC portal
