Victor Osimhen Injury Places AFCON Participation In Doubt
Napoli cum Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen could miss next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon after a terrible injury during the Serie A clash with Inter Milan on Sunday.Information Guide Nigeria
Napoli says tests on the striker revealed he suffered a fractured orbit and cheekbone. A statement on their website says Osimhen will undergo surgery on the injury in the next few days.
“The instrumental tests carried out on Victor Osimhen at the end of the Inter-Napoli match revealed multiple displaced fractures of the orbit and of the left cheekbone,” the statement said.
