Randy Waldrum, head coach of the Super Falcons, has said that the major goal at the upcoming 2023 Women’s World Cup is to advance from the group stage.
In a news release issued by the Nigeria Football Federation, the American established the tone for the World Cup, which will be held in Australia and New Zealand this summer.

The falcons are in Group B with Olympic champions Canada, co-hosts Australia, and the Republic of Ireland and face a difficult task of getting it out of the group stage.
However, Waldrum is confident his team can go far in the global tournament.
“The first target for us at the World Cup is to advance out of the group stage,” Waldrum told thenff.com.
The Falcons will be based in Brisbane, where they will play two of their three matches, with the other game taking place in Melbourne, another Australian city.
Nigeria is one of only seven countries who have never failed to qualify for the Women’s World Cup since the competition’s inception in China 32 years ago.JAMB Result
