8 Little Or Not Known Interesting Facts About Nigeria

Do you know who the "Giant of Africa" is? It's Nigeria. This western African country can boast a very large territory where hundreds of different ethnic groups live, oftentimes in the same villages. The high number of different ethnicities should also explain why Nigerian villages are often the theater of internal conflicts. Such conflicts take place usually for religious reasons.

It's not rare to see Nigerians struggle to understand each other. That's another feature of the Giant of Africa, where people from different cultures can't even understand their neighbors from a near village because they speak different languages. And that's another typical feature of Nigeria. However, if you go to the largest metro areas, you can find many Nigerians who can speak English fluently as the level of education is averagely higher than in the small villages.
