Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Lagos State governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has refuted the allegations of his Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Abdul-Azeez Adediran that he did not enter into an agreement with anybody to choose him (Rhodes-Vivour) as his running mate.Information Guide Nigeria
Rhodes-Vivour, who was interviewed on Channels Television’s current affairs programme, Politic Today, said Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has shown that he is a man that lacks integrity and honour.

The LP candidate said there was indeed a deal to be on the same ticket with him. This, the LP flag bearer added, led to his withdrawal from the race on the day of the party’s primary.

There has been controversy over the issue, with claims and counter-claims about a deal with stakeholders over the choice of Jandor’s running mate. Former National Deputy Chairman (South), Chief Bode George had claimed that Jandor agreed to pick Rhodes-Vivour as his running mate. But the PDP candidate said there was no such thing. He accused George of lying.
Speaking on the issue on Channels, Rhodes-Vivour lampooned Jandor, saying his denial was distasteful and unbecoming of a man who is aspiring to rule Lagos.JAMB Result
He said: “Adediran has tried to churn out a lot of lies consistently. This has brought him to disrepute. There was an agreement that was made on the day of the primary. That was what led to my withdrawal from the process. This agreement was consummated before the event; hence I withdrew.
