The Moto G Power (2022) is one of the latest Motorola smartphones announced for the United States. Keeping up with new phone releases is no easy task. There are numerous brands creating different handsets, constant rumors of the next big thing, and new models announced every other day. This is especially true of Motorola having released over 30 new Android phones just in 2021.

According to SCREENRANTS, one of Motorola’s latest phones to get unveiled is the Moto G Power (2022). The Moto G Power (2022) isn’t a mind-blowing device by any means, but for $199, it does deliver a fairly impressive spec sheet. It’s touting a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, up to three days of battery life, three rear cameras, and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage.

SCREENRANT reports that there’s one aspect of the G Power (2022) that’s a bit unclear, Its release date. The phone clearly has 2022 right in its name, yet Motorola announced it in November 2021.

As it turns out, Motorola’s release plans for the Moto G Power (2022) are all over the place. If you live in the United States and want to be among the first to own the phone, it’s initially launching on Republic Wireless and Metro by T-Mobile “in the coming months.” That means it could be released in December, January, February, etc. Not having a firm release date is undoubtedly frustrating, but that’s as specific as Motorola’s gotten.

According to SCREENRANT, beyond those two carriers, the Moto G Power (2022) will also get “subsequent availability” at AT&T, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Google Fi, US Cellular, Xfinity Mobile, and Verizon. Motorola once again fails to offer an exact release date, instead just saying the G Power (2022) is coming to these carriers sometime after it launches on Republic and Metro. Jamb Result

If you’d rather not buy from a carrier, an unlocked Moto G Power (2022) is coming to Amazon, Best Buy, and Motorola’s website “in early 2022” — suggesting a release anytime between January and March.

Lastly, if you live in Canada, the G Power (2022) will be available “in the coming months” at undisclosed retailers.
