‘Why kill your own people?’ – Kingsley Moghalu over Anambra crisis

Presidential candidate in the 2023 Nigerian election, Kingsley Moghalu on Monday frowned at the ongoing violence happening in Anambra State. Information Guide Nigeria

Recalled that unknown gunmen on Sunday set fire at the offices of the Directorate of State Service Society (DSS) and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Nnewi, leaving two dead at the scene.

They also burn down the home of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe.

From Sunday 26th and 28th September 2021, attacks on citizens at Oko, Agulu, Obosi, Nkpor, Nnobi, Nnewi, and other places have left 10 people dead, including a prominent son of Anambra State, Dr Chike Akunyili, who was murdered last Tuesday around Nkpor.

According to Politics Nigeria, in Kingsley words: “I condemn very strongly the violence going on in Anambra state, be it politically or otherwise motivated. No one’s interest is served by the violence and there is no strategic benefit to killing your own people to make any point. The collective suffers. We need investigations,” Moghalu wrote on his verified Twitter handle. jamb results
