92 suspects apprehended, 22 cartons of alcohol destroyed in Yobe 

The Chairperson, of the Caretaker Management Committee of Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State, Halima Kyari Joda, has led security operatives to destroy 22 cartons of alcohol, and arresting of 92 persons involved in operating a local brothel in the Ngalda community. The joint operation, which was led by Joda, was carried out last Monday in Ngalda village and comprised the Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Hisba, and local vigilantes, among others.JAMB Portal

As reported by DAILY POST, aside from the confiscation of cartons of alcohol and banning of the local brothel in the community during the operation, 92 suspects of various crimes such as selling alcohol, prostitution, selling of illicit drugs and local weapons were also arrested.
