MonkeyPox: Nigeria Records 10 Additional Cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 10 additional cases of Monkeypox in Nigeria.

According to THE GUARDIAN, this was disclosed via NCDC official website, in its latest monkeypox situation report released on Friday.Information Guide Nigeria

The World Health Organization (WHO) has revealed that the situation was unlikely to escalate into a full-blown pandemic.

THE GUARDIAN reports that NCDC also confirmed that no fewer than 110 suspected cases of the disease had been reported in Nigeria.

“From January 1 to 5 June, 2022, there have been 110 suspected cases in total and 31 confirmed cases from 12 states.
