Widow Of Ex-Senate President Is Dead
Mrs Mary Abiola Wayas, the widow of late former Senate President, Joseph Wayas, is dead.
Her husband, Joseph Wayas, who was the Senate President in the Second Republic between 1979 and 1983, died on 30th November 2021, in a London hospital at the age of 80 years.

Their son, Joseph Wayas Jnr said his mother died in a United Kingdom (UK) hospital on 12th December 2021 after a brief illness, just 12 days after her husband’s death. She was 78 years old. THE WILL reports.
Mrs Wayas is survived by 5 children, grandchildren, and a great-grandchild, and was a trained secretary.
She worked in famous firms in Russell Square, London; while supporting her husband, Late Joseph Wayas who was then an overseas student in the UK.
