
WIKE THREATENS TO IMPOSE ANOTHER LOCKDOWN
The Governor of River State, Nyesom Wike has threatened to impose another lockdown on residents of Rivers State if they fail to comply with Covid-19 guidelines.
Speaking with Channels Television in Port Harcourt, the Governor lamented on the increased number of Covid-19 cases and fatalities in the State.

According to the Governor, those refusing to take the vaccine are endangering the lives of others around them.
Gov. Wike said, “We may be constrained to re-impose the suspended COVID-19 lockdown measures across the state if the transmission of the disease continues to increase beyond tolerable limits”.
The Governor frowned at residents and visitors who continued to behave as if the pandemic was no longer in existence, stating that it was disastrous for an oil-rich state. Information Guides Nigeria
In his words, “This is a big lie and we cannot afford to continue to close our eyes to the dangers such irresponsible behaviour poses to the health, lives, and livelihood of everyone.”
