Yobe Replaces Ministry of land And Survey With New Agency

The Yobe State House of Assembly is making plans to replace the State Ministry of Land and Survey with a new Agency. Information Guide Nigeria 

In a report filed by DAILY POST, the Standing Committee on Land adopted a bill demanding the establishment of the Yobe Geographic Information System (YOGIS) in the State which was adopted by the House.


According to the Chairman, House Committee on Land, Hon. Buba Maina Sale, the Geographic Information System Agency when formed would improve the source of revenue for the government.

DAILY POST reveals that scraping off of the ministry of Land and Survey by lawmakers is to avoid duplication and ensure proper management of lands in the state.

The Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon. Mohammed Isa Bello has directed the clerk of the Assembly to provide a clean copy of the report for the third and final reading of the Bill.
