A blocked Airtel line is not the end of the road for you as you can unblock your line by simply linking the line to your NIN. Once you have been able to do that, your line will be unblocked and you should now be able to make calls again using your Airtel.

How to register NIN on the Airtel portal

To register your NIN using the Airtel NIN portal, follow the instructions written below:

  • Open your favourite browser and visit. https://airtel.com.ng/nin/
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the “Enter Details” section.
  • In the Enter Details section, input your Airtel number—it can either be your mobile, ODU, MiFi, or Router number.How to Get NYSC Call-Up Letter
  • After inserting your number, tap on the Proceed button under the “Enter Number” field. An OTP (One-Time Password) code will be sent to the number you inputted, so ensure that you have access to the number
  • Enter your email address and your alternate number into the fields provided
  • Tap on the Proceed button to continue after filling the email and alternate number fields
  • Input the OTP you received and tap on the Proceed button
  • Next, input your NIN into the Enter NIN (11 Digits Only) field
  • Tick the “I accept all terms and conditions” checkbox
  • Finally, tap on the Proceed button to link your NIN to your Airtel Number

How to register NIN via Airtel USSD code

Alternatively, you can also link your Airtel Number to your NIN by dialling the Airtel NIN code_(*121*1#). To link your Airtel Number using the Airtel NIN code, dial *121*1# on your Airtel line, insert your NIN, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.JAMB form

How to register Airtel via NIMC MobileID App

To use the NIMC MobileID app to register your Airtel number, you’ll have to ensure that the number you are registering is the one you used during your NIN enrolment.JAMB Result

To use this method, follow the instructions written below:

  • Visit the Google PlayStore or Apple Store to download the MWS: NIMC MobileID application
  • Launch the application and insert your unique NIN and phone number (number used during NIN enrolment). An OTP will be sent to the number—quickly insert the OTP because it only lasts for a minute
  • Next, you’ll have to create a 6-digit PIN/Password. Choose numbers you’ll be able to easily remember because you’ll be needing them every time you want to sign in to the app
  • From your dashboard, select the Link My Numbers option to enable you to add and validate your numbers. With the NIMC MobileID app, you’ll be able to add up to 7 mobile numbers.

Note: For every number, you add using the app, you’ll have to verify it using an OTP. So be sure to have access to the numbers before trying to add them using the app.
