EFCC Apprehend 40 Alleged Internet Fraudsters In Lagos

According to the report from gistmania, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has again arrested an internet fraud suspect in Lagos.Information Guide Nigeria

Media His chief Wilson Wujaren announced the operation in a statement Tuesday. Suspects were arrested at various locations along the Lekki-Epe highway.

They are Oyedokun Opeyemi Abdulrazaq, Olowofela Temidayo, Moses Ossai, Dada Samuel Abiodun, Francis Victor Oluwatobi, Ayobami Akanji, Osun Gbenga, Doroye Olumide Joseph, Ajayi Oluwaseyi Emmanuel, Olalekan Olaniyi Akonji, Oluwadare Samuel Olawale, Oloyede Olakunle.

Others include Oluwasina Temitope, Kareem Hassan, Fagbemiro Ayomide, Olaegbe Hammed, Ejede Victor, Allen Abimbola, Peter Nwaneri, Egbe David Morgan, Abu Mathew, Anjola Emmanuel, Olashile Gabriel, Omobolaji Solomon, Allen Ayoola, Odenike Sodiq and Confidence Atipko.

Most of them were plucked from his estate in Aoyaya area and Oral on 29th August 2022 and he on 1st September.

They have been accused of being involved in computer fraud, identity theft, and false financing. The EFCC said it acted on credible information received by the Commission.

A laptop, a mobile device containing counterfeit documents, and several vehicles were seized during the raid. Uwjaren added that all suspects will be brought to justice soon.
