Reason Tinubu should be president – Mamora

Sen. Olorunnimbe Mamora, the Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation on Tuesday stated why All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should succeed President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29. THE NATION reports.Information Guide Nigeria

Dr. Mamora, who spoke about his expectation of the election, said he looked forward to a credible and violence-free exercise.

The former Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker addressed reporters in Lagos ahead of his 70th birthday holding tomorrow in the state.

In his words: “I expect that my party, APC, will win and produce the next president. We need a progressive continuity.”

Shedding light on the idea of progressive continuity, he said it would avert policy somersault and prevent incidence of abandoned projects.

Describing Tinubu as “one Nigerian that has the largest ministry of influence,” the minister said he was a formidable candidate with tentacles across the six geo-political zones. Mamora listed the attributes of the presidential candidate to include courage, vision of an eagle, foresight, strategy and sufficient experience, stressing that his chances at the polls were very bright.
