The rain started as early as 6.00am in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory, creating a cool atmosphere in readiness for the event.

However, there was light traffic along the ever busy airport Road, with only few vehicles playing the road.
Inside the city centre, traffic was also light as many people observe the public holiday declared by the governneby, while heavy security was noticed in some parts of the metropolis.
