Women’s World Cup: Tacha loses N500,00 bet as Falcons bow to England

Natacha Akide, or Tacha, a Nigerian TV reality personality, has lost the N500,000 bet she placed on the Super Falcons to beat England following Nigeria’s penalty shootout defeat to the Three Lionesses.

The Super Falcons were defeated 4-2 on penalties by England in their round of 16 match at the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia on Monday morning after regulation and extra time ended goalless.

Tacha said before the game that she would place a bet N500,000 for the Super Falcons to beat England.

After Nigeria’s defeat, she wrote “Jesus,” with sad emoji in another tweet.
