Nollywood Star Mr. Ibu Undergoes Amputation Amid Health Battles

The family of Nollywood’s cherished actor, John Okafor, widely known as Mr. Ibu, has released a heartrending update on his health condition. A statement released by the actor’s family on Monday recounted the harrowing journey, highlighting the seven surgeries he braved through, one of which necessitated the drastic measure of amputation to preserve his life.

Despite the gravity of the situation, the family expressed profound gratitude towards the Nigerian public for the outpouring of financial and emotional support during this challenging time. The statement added, “As of 1 pm, noon today , Daddy has gone through 7 successful surgeries but to keep him alive and increase his chances of recovery one of his legs had to be amputated.. This development has been hard on us all but we’ve had to accept it as Daddy’s new reality to keep him alive.NYSC Portal

“Please we are still soliciting for support from well meaning Nigerians as this stage Daddy is is still one very delicate one and he needs all the help he can get.
