RSU Academic Calendar for 2023/3024 academic session. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the calendar of activities for the 2023/3024 school year. The management of Rivers State University released this calendar to guide fresh and returning students and give them a clue on prospective activities to be carried out within the school year. This is to inform all students of the Rivers State University that the school management has released the approved academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session. The schedule of some important events are as follows;

• Monday, 8th January, 2024: Arrival of returning students
• Monday, 18th December, 2023: Online registration for all students begins
• Monday, 23rd December, 2023 – Saturday, 6th January, 2024: Christmas Break
• Monday, 15th January, 2024: 2023/2024 academic session first semester lectures commences for all students
• Monday, 26th February, 2024 – Friday, 1st March, 2024: Orientation for fresh students
• Friday, 1st March, 2024: Online registration for all students ends
• Wednesday, 6th March, 2024: Matriculation Ceremony for fresh students of the academic session
• Friday, 29th March, 2024: First Semester Lectures ends for all students except Year 1 students.
