In his comments on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor addressed Arsenal directly, urging the club to “shut up and stop moaning” about the challenges Saka faces on the pitch.

Agbonlahor pointed to the experiences of legendary footballers Lionel Messi and the late Diego Maradona, who were also subject to tough tackling and physical play during their careers.JAMB Result

He suggested that Arsenal should take a page from how these iconic players dealt with such challenges. According to Agbonlahor, Messi and Maradona faced similar treatment but continued to “get on” with the game without dwelling on it.

The former England international further emphasized that it is a common occurrence for skilled players to be targeted with kicks and fouls by opponents.

In his view, this is part of the game and something top players have to contend with. Agbonlahor’s comments reflect a perspective that sees such challenges as an inevitable aspect of competitive football, especially for talented and influential players like Saka.JAMB Portal

Agbonlahor said: “Look at the clips of Maradona; he used to get two-footed in the chest! Two-footed in the chest, no yellow card, play on. Messi – kicked, kicked, kicked—he just gets up, takes a quick free-kick and gets on with it. Honestly, just stop moaning. Get on with your game.”NYSC Portal

He added: “Yes, Saka might get fouled a lot but that is because he is a top player and people have got to stop you. I got kicked but I just got on with [the game].”
