April 19 & April 22 to be Observed as Public Holidays – FG   

April 19 and April 22 are to be observed in Nigeria as public holidays, following the Easter celebration, the Federal  Government Wednesday has said.

Permanent Secretary Ministry of Interior,  Georgina Ehuriah, made the announcement on behalf of the Minister of Interior Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau in Abuja to mark the Easter celebration.

The government urged the Christian faithful in the country to use this opportunity to live in peace, love and unity. The also advised them to live a Christ-like attitude and also set examples for others to follow.

According to the Guardian, the government however wished Christians in the country a happy Easter celebration.
