The Presidency declared on Wednesday that President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.) is prepared to support Bola Tinubu, the APC’s nominee for president, and all other APC candidates with “full energy and conviction.”Information Guide Nigeria
This came as a result of complaints from some quarters that the President hadn’t been mentioned in APC campaigning.
The President’s functions and duties would take primacy, the Presidency declared, even though Buhari is still devoted to party politics.

This information was made public on Wednesday in a statement by Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, headed “President Buhari ready to campaign for Tinubu and other APC candidates with zeal and conviction.”NYSC portal
According to Shehu, the President “assures the All Progressives Congress and its candidates in the elections next year that he is ready at all times to campaign for the presidential candidate and all party candidates with ‘full energy and conviction.’
“This is to dispel expressed concerns in certain quarters that the President has not featured in campaigns since the national launch in Jos, Plateau State and to stress that while he remains committed to party politics, the functions and duties of the President will equally be upheld at times.”JAMB Result
