David Adeleke, better known as Davido, a Nigerian music superstar, has shared his thoughts on who he believes will be the next Afrobeats singer to take the world by storm.

He began by addressing Naira Marley, saying that his story of returning to Nigeria from the United Kingdom and launching the Marlian movement is incredible.
Omo Baba Olowo went on to name buzzing producers turned singers Young John and Pheelz, both of whom have had smash hit singles in the last year.
He stated that this is the year of the producer, and he is pleased that they are also able to shine as performers.
Davido went on to say that Afrobeats is having such an impact that international record labels are flocking to Africa, particularly Nigeria, to sign new artists.
