Day 35 – Week 5 in the All Stars house – BBNaija

The fifth week of Big Brother Naija was a maelstrom of emotions and events, keeping both housemates and viewers on their toes. The week began with the unanticipated departure of Kiddwaya, which was quickly filled by the advent of four new house guests: Kim Oprah, Lucy, Prince Nelson, and Sholzy. These newcomers invigorated the house, inciting both enthusiasm and apprehension among the residents.informationguidenigeria

The arrival of the new visitors was met with a variety of responses, but Cross stole the show with his unbridled joy upon seeing Kim Oprah. Cross’s joyful act of raising Kim Oprah into the air set the tone for an emotionally charged week. The atmosphere in the house changed noticeably as housemates donned their game faces, dressed in their Sunday best, and displayed a heightened level of solemnity regarding the game.

Soma emerged as the week’s Head of House and chose Adekunle, Angel, Alex, and Seyi as his best friends. Soma’s romantic journey was marked by hiccups, but it culminated with Angel declaring her emotions for him. However, none of the housemates were granted immunity through the black envelope or the “excuse me” diversion.NYSC Portal

In contrast to the intensity of the game, the motif of the week was humour. The home was filled with laughter as a result of pranks and an unexpected comedy night. Biggie orchestrated a humorous yet messy incident in which he showered freeze-mode housemates with whipped cream after they had just showered and changed their clothing.

Biggie organised the Pursuit of Happiness workshop and invited Hamisha Daryani Ahuja to facilitate the session, a departure from his usual comedic exploits. This workshop encouraged housemates to consider the significance of contentment, self-care, and gratitude in their own lives. The workshop also helped reconcile strained relationships between roommates. Cross and Pere’s, Ike and Ilebaye’s, Ilebaye and Seyi’s, Ceec and Tolanibaj’s, and Angel and Cross’ reconciliations occurred on the second day of the workshop and beyond.

In the high-pressure environment of the Big Brother house, drama and conflicts were unavoidable. Inadvertently, the Pursuit of Happiness workshop sparked tensions between Tolanibaj and Ilebaye, resulting in a confrontation over personal space and boundaries. Neonenergy’s response to Tolanibaj was a letter terminating their friendship, which Tolanibaj rejected. Similarly, the friendship between Ceec and Doyin encountered obstacles after the two had a disagreement at the end of the week.JAMB Result

In spite of the week’s ups and downs, Pere emerged victorious in the arena events. The residents threw a pool and grill party to celebrate, and Ilebaye and Cross shared an unexpected passionate kiss. The incident drew Kim Oprah’s attention, and she appeared visibly disturbed by the development. After a raucous Saturday Night Rave, Ilebaye had a heartfelt conversation with Kim Oprah, encouraging her to pursue a relationship with Cross.
