FCT: 3 students shot at Secondary School 500 meters from Wike’s house

According to reports received by DAILY POST, three students have been shot at Lifecamp Government Secondary School in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

These students were apparently shot by a group of individuals who entered the school premises armed with guns.

A reliable source, speaking to DAILY POST, indicated that this incident took place on Thursday within the school grounds. Notably, the incident occurred in close proximity, just 500 meters away, from the residence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.JAMB Portal

The source also expressed concern, stating that incidents of gun violence at the school seem to be occurring on an annual basis, highlighting a troubling pattern.

“Lifecamp Government Secondary School is directly opposite Lifecamp Police Station and about 500 metres from the residence of the FCT Minister. This is a repeat of what happened yesterday. It happens regularly.

The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident when contacted by DAILY POST.NYSC Portal

“I can confirm that there was an incident there and the Commissioner of Police has ordered an investigation,” Adeh said.
