Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the undergraduate Foursquare National Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate clear, verifiable proof of financial inability to meet educational expenses.
2. Educational Institution: Only students enrolled in Federal or State universities, polytechnics, and tertiary institutions are eligible. Secondary school applicants must be enrolled in a State-owned institution, including McPherson University.
3. Academic Performance: Undergraduate applicants from 200 level and above must have a minimum of Second Class Upper with a cumulative CGPA of 3.5/5 and provide duly certified statement of results. Secondary school applicants (SS1 – SS3) must have a minimum cumulative percentage of 80% in previous sessional examinations.
4. Age Limit: Undergraduates must not be older than 27 years, and secondary school students must not exceed 20 years of age.
Renewal Criteria:
University undergraduates must maintain a minimum of Second Class Upper division, while secondary school students must maintain a minimum cumulative percentage of 70% to renew the scholarship award.
Available Programs:
Students from all recognized public universities and McPherson University pursuing accredited courses are eligible to apply, provided they meet the scholarship requirements.
