Kano Governor Sacks Pilgrims Welfare Chairman, Secretary

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf wasted no time in implementing significant changes to the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, as he promptly relieved Sheikh Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, and Muhammad Abba Danbatta of their duties as Chairman and the Executive Secretary of the board respectively. Alhaji Yusuf Lawan will now take up the role of chairman while Alhaji Laminu Rabiu assumes the role of Executive Secretary of the state pilgrims board.

The announcement was made in an official statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, in the early hours of Tuesday.Information Guide Nigeria

These changes suggest a comprehensive restructuring of the board’s leadership, aimed at bringing about positive changes and ensuring a successful 2023 Hajj operation.

Among the notable individuals affected by the reshuffle is Malama Nana Aisha, the daughter of the late Islamic cleric Sheikh Jafar Mahmud Adam, who previously held a prominent position on the board.JAMB Result

The sudden and swift changes to the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board have caught many by surprise, considering they were made less than 24 hours after the board’s inauguration.

As the new appointees take charge, the expectations of the public and the pilgrims themselves will undoubtedly be high, awaiting the board’s efficient management and delivery of services.

In response to the changes, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stated, “These appointments were made with the aim of rejuvenating the operations of the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and ensuring a successful Hajj pilgrimage in 2023.
