Kanu must not die in jail-Nigerian Activist slams FG

A political activist, Ayomipe Jatto, has claimed the immediate past All Progressives Congress-led government of former President Muhammadu Buhari passed a baton of militia character to President Bola Tinubu after keeping the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in prison for years. The Activist tasked leaders of Igbo ethnic-nationality with togetherness in resolving the sit-at-home syndrome, which he described as a burning flame capable of hurting the region more.

He spoke on Sunday over the lingering controversy surrounding Kanu’s continued incarceration by the Department of State Service in Abuja, despite court pronouncement for his freedom.

Jatto insisted that the southeast region has turned into a war zone without any external aggressor but an enemy they created for themselves, now affecting other regions in the country because of a lack of unity.

Jatto further warned that Kanu must not die in jail for seeking the independence of the Biafra Republic from Nigeria.Information Guide Nigeria
