It was reported Sam Larry was arrested over an ongoing investigation into the circumstances leading to the death of 27-year-old singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The spokesperson of Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the development in a statement released on Thursday night but didn’t reveal details of how the arrest was made.NYSC Portal

However, a Police source quoted by Punch has shed more light on circumstances and events that led to the arrest of the controversial socialite.

According to the source, Larry was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Thursday evening as he arrived from Kenya and was immediately taken to the State Police headquarters for questioning.JAMB Result

“Sam Larry was arrested at the airport after he arrived from Kenya. Our officers arrested him at the airport and he was immediately taken to the state police headquarters for questioning,” the source said.

It would be recalled that following the controversial and sudden death of Mohbad on Tuesday, September 12, there have been several calls for the Police to carry out a diligent investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.informationguidenigeria

In line with the call, the Police have exhumed his body for autopsy and the nurse who injected him before he died was also arrested.

The Police promised to provide more details as the investigation continues.
