Nigerian govt vows to address sudden deaths among civil servants

The Nigerian Government, through the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), has committed to addressing preventable Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and sudden deaths within the workforce.

The Head of Civil Service of the Federation emphasized the paramount importance of this initiative, aligning with the government’s mandate to enhance the health and well-being of its employees. Mahmud Adam Kambari, the Permanent Secretary of the Service Welfare Office (SWO), conveyed this commitment during a one-day training workshop for five hundred (500) officers in the Federal Civil Service held on Wednesday.

Kambari underscored the governments awareness of the safety and health of civil servants, acknowledging the sobering reality of an increasing mortality rate among them and emphasizing the urgent need to address this situation.JAMB Result
