However, our correspondent has visited courts in the GRA area in Birnin Kebbi where staff and lawyers were seen in the court preparing to begin court proceedings as usual though many of them confirmed not being on strike but said off-record that they haven’t joined the ongoing strike declared by Nigeria labour congress, even the affidavit office was fully operational as at 12noon Tuesday.
For further confirmation our correspondent also visited Sir Yahya Hospital where nurses and doctors were seen at the emergency unit attending to patients while the wards were fully operational, A nurse in a blue uniform who didn’t want her name published for fear of victimisation confirmed that their union NANNM didn’t contact them on the strike so as usual they are all in the hospital working.NYSC Portal
Moreover, as of 12 noon Tuesday zenith, First Bank, Guarantee Trust Bank, Keystone, Stanbic, Ecobank and a host of other banks are fully operational in Kebbi state.
