Police kill five suspected bandits in Katsina

The Nigerian Police Command in Katsina State has killed five suspected terrorists. THE GUARDIAN reports.Information Guide Nigeria

Abubakar Aliyu, the Police spokesman confirmed this in a statement on Sunday in Katsina.

Aliyu said one Abubakar Idris, 18, a suspected bandit, was apprehended, while five others were killed.

He also disclosed that 38 cows, 40 sheep, and 65 goats were recovered at the terrorists’ camps.

According to the policeman, in an intelligence-led operation, the team raided and cleared bandits’ camps in the two affected local governments.

“The operation was led by the Command’s Officer in Charge of the Anti-kidnapping Unit and that of the Special Investigations Bureau (SIB),” Aliyu said.NYSC Portal
