Political Aide Murdered at Collation Center in Bayelsa State

Mr. George Sibo, a member of a leading political party in Bayelsa State and an aide to the Brass Local Government Chairman, Hanson Alabo-Karika, was killed at a collation center in Twon-Brass, Brass local government area. According to eyewitness accounts, the attack occurred when thugs invaded the collation center as election results for some wards in the constituency were being submitted. Sibo, popularly known as “Kobo-Kobo,” was an indigene of Twon-Brass and a family man, leaving behind a wife and children.
