At a Rivers PDP campaign rally on Wednesday in Mogho Town for the Gokana Local Government Area, Wike claimed that some members of the main opposition party wanted to punish him for promoting justice and fairness within the organization.

He claimed that individuals who supported PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar were attempting to punish him for telling the truth and called such a plan absurd.NYSC portal
