‘Silence not weakness, I will speak in due course’ – Ex-FCCPC boss, Irukera breaks silence over sack

The erstwhile Chief Executive of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, FCCPC, Babatunde Irukera, has said he will speak up in due course following his sack by President Bola Tinubu, as per DAILY POST.JAMB Portal

Irukera’s statement came as a response to a demand by an X user that he should speak up about an allegation that he was removed due to his inability to effectively perform the duties of his office.

DAILY POST reported that Tinubu had in a letter to the Senate explained the reason for the removal of Irukere as Chief Executive of the FCCPC.

The letter said Irukera was removed due to his inability to effectively perform the duties of his office, adding that it has become pertinent to restructure and reposition critical agencies of the Federal Government for efficiency and effectiveness.InformationGuideNigeria

Disagreeing with the content of the letter sent to the upper legislative House, an X user @MalachyOdo1 wrote, “At this point, Mr. Irukere has to speak up.”

However, Irukera replied on X on Friday saying he will speak up at the right time.JAMB Result
