Social Media Influencer Reacts To Reports Of Being Re-arraigned Over Alleged N7.9 Million Fraud

Popular comedienne and media influencer, Adedamola Adewale, aka Adeherself, has reacted to reports of being re-arraigned for alleged N7.9 million internet fraud.Information Guide Nigeria

It could be recalled that Adeherself was charged alongside two others at large on a three-count of conspiracy to obtain money by false pretences and retention of proceeds of criminal conduct.

NAIJA NEWS reports that the defendant, however, pleaded not guilty.

Samuel Daji, the counsel to the anti-graft agency, told the court that the case was re-assigned and prayed the court to remand the suspect pending the commencement of the trial.NYSC portal

Adeherself took to her Instagram page to call out some of the blogs and newspapers that reported the news.

The social media influencer described the news as baseless and expressed displeasure over how the media gets called in even for the slightest attention.

According to NAIJA NEWS, she wrote: “When the news doesn’t favor them, they ask the media to stay back! But when there is an opportunity for the attention they call the media asap!

“So baseless!.. I believe if news should be properly followed up, it should be from the beginning to the end! Not a one-sided story!! I tag myself!! Tell the media what went down in court even before now, period. To avoid stress Biko”JAMB Result
