The Federal Ministry of Works on Monday announced that both bounds of the carriageways of the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State will be closed to traffic from noon on Wednesday to noon on Thursday, DAILY POST reports.NYSC Portal
Mrs Olukorede Kesha, the Federal Controller of Works, Lagos, stated this in a statement made available to newsmen.
Kesha explained that the total closure was in continuation of the ongoing rehabilitation works on the bridge.InformationGuideNigeria
“Consequently, the bridge would not be opened to traffic during this critical 24-hour period.

Motorists are advised to cooperate with the traffic management officials deployed to manage traffic to ensure hitch-free movements during the period.JAMB Portal
Meanwhile, the Lagos State Government had also released a notification for the planned total closure of the bridge.
