Your Victory Is Short, Dino Melaye To Tinubu

The spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council, Dino Melaye has said Bola Tinubu’s victory in last Saturday’s polls is temporal and there is no retreat in the party’s search for justice. DAILY TRUST reports.Information Guide Nigeria

Melaye also served as the presidential election collation agent of the PDP and had during the collation of results accused the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, of having rigged the presidential election.

In a Facebook post on Friday, Melaye said the PDP would do everything within legal means to retrieve its alleged stolen mandate.

In his words: “Fellow countrymen and women, I salute you in the name of struggle. Our country is bleeding, the soul and spirit of the country are crying for justice and crying for righteousness.NYSC Portal

“Professor Mahmood Yakubu stabbed the soul of Nigeria when he graduated from having inconclusive elections in his first term to overvoting in his second term. In the first term, PDP and opposition parties were disenfranchised by the concept of inconclusive elections.

“The new strategy adopted by professor Mahmood Yakubu now is over voting, 90% of states’ results that were presented announced over voting. Strongholds of PDP were announced over voting and canceled results in those areas.

“I have done a computation of the over-voting recorded which amount to over two million but because they do not want the margin of canceled votes to be more than the margin of winning, they reduced it to 900,000. It is a fallacious lie, it is a malicious lie, it will not stand.“I want to announce to Bola Tinubu that your victory is temporal, we will obtain that stolen mandate, and the battle to salvage Nigeria from demons in power is a battle of no retreat no surrender.JAMB Result
