Police rescues worshippers abducted in a mosque

The Zamfara State Police Command said it has rescued one of the worshippers abducted in a mosque in Tsafe town, the headquarters of Tsafe Local Government Area of the state, PUNCH reports.InformationGuideNigeria

PUNCH Online had reported that bandits abducted scores of worshippers during morning prayer in the mosque on Thursday.JAMB Result

But in a press statement on Friday, the spokesperson for the command, ASP Yazid Abubakar, said three people were abducted.JAMB Portal

He said, “On February 29, 2024 at about 05.30am, unknown armed men suspected to be armed bandits with sophisticated weapons surreptitiously sneaked into a Jumaat mosque on Hospital Road of Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State with the intent to perpetuate massive abductions’.
