Zamfara: ‘My govt is on a rescue mission – Gov Lawal reacts to Supreme Court victory

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has called on opposition parties to collaborate with his administration in its rescue mission, emphasizing that the recent Supreme Court verdict was a victory for the people of Zamfara.

This statement comes after the Supreme Court set aside the decision of the Court of Appeal Abuja, which had declared the Zamfara Governorship Election inconclusive on January 12, 2024.informationguidenigeria

The governors call for collaboration aims to foster unity and cooperation among political parties for the betterment of the state.

“Delivering the lead decision of the Supreme Court, Justice Emmanuel Agim described the judgement of the lower Court of Appeal as perverse and lacked evidential foundation.

In a statement by the Governor’s spokesman, Sulaiman Bala Idris, the Apex court verdict reflected the people’s desire for positive development and progress.
