On Independence Day, the ruling All Progressives Congress unveiled the composition of its women’s campaign train, with First Lady Aisha Buhari, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Hajiya Nana, the wife of vice presidential candidate Senator Kassim Shettima, in the lead.Infomation Guide Nigeria
The campaign list, which included the names of 944 famous women and wives of major APC leaders, was leaked in the early hours of Saturday morning by Rinsola Abiola, the campaign media administrator, and daughter of the late Chief MKO Abiola.
In the list marked ‘Tinubu-Shettima Women’s Presidential Campaign Team,’ you will find the following items. Aisha was selected as Grand Patron, Tinubu, a three-term senator, as Chairman, Nana as Co-Chairman, and Lauretta Onochie, Personal Assistant on Social Media to President Muhammadu Buhari (ret.), as Deputy National Coordinator.
In the category of zonal leaders, the wife of the governor of Kebbi State, Dr. Zainab Baugudu, will coordinate the NorthWest; the wife of the governor of Lagos State, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo–Olu, will lead the South West; and the first lady of Borno State, Falmata Zulum, will be responsible for the North East.
Mrs. Olufolake Abdulrazaq, the first lady of Kwara State, will coordinate operations in the North-Central region, while Mrs. Sanwoolu, the wife of the governor of Lagos State, will oversee the South-West.Jamb Result
Chioma Ikeaka-Uzodinma, the First Lady of Imo State, will organise the South-East campaign, while Linda Ayade, the First Lady of Cross River State, will manage South-South events.

The statement partly read, “The Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Women Presidential Campaign Team is pleased to announce the release of the composition of its various committees for the 2023 presidential campaign.
“While we congratulate the appointees, they are advised to collect their letters of appointment at the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Office at No 2 Kainji Crescent, off Lake Chad Crescent, Maitama, Abuja on 3rd October 2022 by 10am.”
No fewer than 33 Nollywood and Kannywood actors were hired for entertainment in the 70-page marketing package.
They included seasoned actors such as Joke Silva, who presided over the category, Fausat Balogun, Remi Oshodi, Mercy Johnson, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero), Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), and Princess Kalihat Bello, among others.
This development follows the release of the controversial APC Presidential Campaign Council list.
Tinubu presented on Friday a 422 member committee comprised of political heavyweights and other noteworthy persons to lead the campaign council’s subcommittees.
