According to Twitter sources on November 1, 2022, Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston over a dice game he played with Migos member Quavo.
At the time this article was written, it was unclear whether the news of his death was accurate. However, according to the CEO of the celebrity news media blog Hollywood Unlocked, Takeoff was shot and did not survive the incident, whilst Quavo fled unharmed.

In another news, former Big Brother Naija housemate Tuoyo has resorted to social media to express his frustration with ladies in nightclubs.
Tuoyo lamented on his Instagram story that he has been meeting more and more women at the club who are always eager to give themselves to him for a charge.
