SUMMARY

These three phones have a lot of features in common. The same operating system. The same processor. The same camera features. Similar connectivity, memory capacity and security features.

However, their areas of difference are:

• Sony Xperia Z5 is 7.3mm thick, and weighs 154g. Sony Xperia Z5 Compact is 8.9mm thick and weighs 138g. While Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is 7.8mm and weighs 180g.

So, if you are a lover of slimmer phones, I advise you go for the regular Xperia Z5 of 138g. But, note that the Compact is lighter in weight.

• The phones share similar screen features but different sizes. Sony Xperia Z5 has 5.2 inches screen. Sony Xperia Z5 Compact has 4.2 inches screen. While the ultra clear Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.5 inches 4k resolution screen.

So, lovers of large (ultra HD) screen phones can go for the 5.5″ Premium. While those who seek for a phone with screen smaller than the normal 5.0″ and 5.2″ can go for the Compact.

• The battery capacity and battery life is another area of difference. The Sony Xperia Z5 is powered by 2900mAh battery. The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact comes armed with a battery of 2700mAh. While the almighty Sony Xperia Z5 premium boasts of a battery of 3430mAh.
