BREAKING: Sokoto Guber: Appeal Court affirms Gov Aliyu’s victory

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has confirmed Ahmed Aliyu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the duly elected governor of Sokoto State.

This decision came after the court dismissed an appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Saidu Umar.JAMB Result

The affirmation by the three-member panel of justices at the Court of Appeal followed an earlier judgment by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Jos, Sokoto State, which had upheld Aliyu’s victory.
