Zamfara Gov charges residents to pray

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has called on the state’s residents to engage in continuous prayer, seeking divine intervention against the ongoing insecurity issues plaguing the region.

The governor’s appeal was conveyed by his chief of staff, Hon. Mukhtar Lugga, during the opening ceremony of the state’s 27th Qur’anic recitation competition.

The recent attack, led by a notorious bandits’ kingpin known as Damina, targeted four villages under the Dansadau district, resulting in the kidnapping of over 100 residents.
